Hey Joel…love the new site. So thankful that it is free of charge and it is such an excellent service. I praise God for your heart as a servant of God to stand in the position of a watchman on the wall. Keep blowing the shofar! I have a blog on wordpress too (spiritofezekiel.wordpress.com) where I share the prophetic dreams and visions God has given me…some, like some of the things in your books, have already been fulfilled.
Russia’s unstoppable aggression takes me back to the early days of WWII. Is there anyone still alive who remembers? This was exactly Hitler’s strategy! And C. Rice’s trip over there is a terrible reminder of Neville Chamberlain’s ineffectiveness. Lord help us!

A Russian general stated today that Poland risks an attack, possibly nuclear for their agreement with the USA to put in the missile shield. Saber rattling I’m sure, but a little scary nonetheless. Watching Russia is exciting stuff. Since 1960 I’ve believed that a leader in Russia would be the White Horseman of the First Seal. I have been watching their leaders ever since and have a large file dating back several years. For a while I thought it would be Zhirinovsky because he is so nationalistic. Actually he may end up being Gog. But I do not put the invasion of Gog et al before the rapture. Since there is no divider between the first and second seal, I see them as one scene. The White Horseman with his determination to conquer and the Red Horseman determined to stop him. Their war kills 1/4th of the world’s population. (Actually the US and Russia are the only two nations with enough nuclear firepower to accomplish this.) I see Putin as that conquerer. We’ll see if he keeps provoking the US with his determination to restore the great Bear. We may hear the trumpet sound and be out of here pretty quick!!

Don’t know if you check this personally or reply here, but if not, maybe one of the others can help me. I can easily see a war coming and a Russian/Iranian alliance and many other things that appear to line up with Ez 38-39. On the other hand, Rev. 20 sounds like the same conflict and seems to be at the end of the milennium.
Are there 2 separate occasions where Gog and Magog are called out against Israel? Surely we’re not at the end of said milennium since Satan sure seems to have been loose during the last 1000 years.
Anyway, looking forward to utilizing this new (to me) tool in keeping tabs on what’s important in the world beyond my little corner.
One thing that has come to my mind since reading your books, what would be another reason why the US would not come to the aid of Isreal in the case of an attack by Russia and Iran. And in light of the current candidates for President, lets say Barak wins. He is by far the weakest of the two candidates on global policy, war, and really completely scares me. Now if Barak is President, does anyone really think he would leap to the aid of Isreal? I think not, so come November, if Barak wins the election, in my mind, mark that down as another sign for Ezekiel prophecies.

Joel, I believe that you posted your articles in a very respectable and fair manner. I remember watching Hal Lindsey for a while, then *poof* he was gone from the show as well. The one thing that comes to mind for both of you is this:

The war of Gog & Magog (Ezekiel 38-39)will come before the 7-year tribulation period, and the second coming of Christ (when Jesus comes down from the clouds and sets up His kingdom here on earth and reigns for 1,000 years. (which follows the 7-year tribulation).
I believe in Revelation 20, the first part of the chapter is dealing mainly with what will happen to Satan during the 1,000 years when Christ reigns here on earth (peaceful 1,000 years without Satan!), and then what will happen after the 1,000 years is finished. In verse 8, where Gog and Magog are mentioned, this is the preparation for the battle of Armageddon, after the 1,000 years is finished and Satan is loosed for a short time. Then, Satan is cast into the lake of fire for good and then the great white throne judgment begins.
Alot of events briefly covered in one chapter!

Joel: Question: I heard and found it interesting that Ahmadinejad recently prepared 320,000 graves for burial of enemy soldiers in event of attack. Is there any correlation between this and Ezekiel 39:11?:

Hi Joel, God provided for me the opportunity to go to visited Israel in June of 2007 which I will be forever thankful. I was afforded to travel around the country on food deliveries needy Jewish people and meeting and talking with some of the people just emphasize to me how great God is. The group and I had opportunity sightsee. I saw the blooming desert and beautiful horses on our way to the Jordon River, Beit Shean and many other places. We travel tour for thirteen wonderful days. On the very day the war started with Hezbollah in Lebanon. I had the opportunity to travel with a group and worked in a food bank of Bridges for Peace located in Jerusalem. I love the nation of Israel.
I just return for from New York where I took my wife of 40 years come this December, on her sixty-seven birthday. We were there for seven days and I completed reading your book the Epicenter and I was thrilled. Some of the things you detailed in your book, I was aware of and others items you have made them clear for me, but I did have some questions. But before I get into the questions let me lay some frame work. I believe things are first natural and then spiritual. Jesus and Paul spoke of things that will come past at the end of age or Last days in Matthew 24 and II Timothy 3, which I believe, we are in fact living in now. I believe every person that has given his life to Christ has become a part of the house and commonwealth of Israel.
Now to my question is, were all the twelve tribes of Israel Jews? My questions center around the birthright blessing that Jacob pronounced (Genesis 48-49) on Ephraim and Manasseh as related to Ezekiel 39:29. First Jacob declares that these children are his and any other children Joseph and his wife will belong to them. The birth right that was Reuben was give to Ephraim the young’s son of Joseph, because of Reuben indiscretion. Who are these people or nations today? The term Jew itself was not used until Israel was divided into the northern and southern kingdoms. If your have any insight in to this, please let me know. Yes, I am making a number of assumptions based on the blessing that those nations maybe people of the two most powerful in the western would. If I am anyway correct here, what could these nations possible be during while Gog and Magog attempt to do this? I believe God’s people that understand and those that don’t understand will be calling out to God regarding this when this thing really get to rolling.

I was wondering what role (if any) you think China will play in the War of Gog and Magog? Since it appears that China is becoming a much bigger player now, certainly in the world economy and I would assume also in the global political realm, I would imagine that as events unfold in the Middle East we would see China becoming involved as well. What are your thoughts on this?
