Tonight, amidst all the pomp and circumstance of a joint session of Congress, President Obama will deliver the 2013 State of the Union address. Tonight, we’ll hear the President’s perspective, along with that of Florida Senator Marco Rubio.
But what do you think? Is America fundamentally healthy and on the right track, or in serious trouble and on the wrong track? Will we be able to stop these runaway deficits and pay down our national debt? Can we protect ourselves and our allies from a nuclear North Korea? Will we stop the Iranian nuclear threat in time? How will we defend ourselves from radical Islam abroad, and aggressive secularism here at home? When one considers all the data — economic/fiscal and moral/cultural/spiritual — should one conclude are we on the road to a renaissance, or ruin? Can we fix our most basic problems, and turn around this beleagured ship of state? And what additional risks does the U.S. run if we abandon or turn against the State of Israel and the Jewish people?
