BREAKING: President to name Amy Coney Barrett — devout pro-life Catholic — to Supreme Court. Apocalyptic battle coming. Here’s what you need to know.

(Washington, DC) — I just landed here in the nation’s capital as word is spreading that President Trump on Saturday at 5pm will formally name Judge Amy Coney Barrett, 48, to be the nation’s next Supreme Court Justice.

This is fantastic — but it’s going to spark an apocalyptic confirmation battle that could make the Kavanaugh process look like a walk in the park.

If confirmed, Barrett would fill the seat opened by the recent passing of Jewish Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Barrett is a devout born again Catholic, a former Notre Dame law professor, married to a successful lawyer, the mother of seven children (including two adopted children), and she is very conservative and deeply pro-life.

Fox News’ Supreme Court reporter and anchor Shannon Bream has written a profile of Barrett worth reading.

Pro-life Catholic and Evangelical leaders that I’ve spoken to in recent days tell me that Barrett is absolutely their first choice and that they have been urging President Trump to name her and get her confirmed before Election Day.

Former Senator Rick Santorum tells me that Barrett “will be a superstar.”

“Unlike [Justice Neil] Gorsuch and [Chief Justice John] Roberts, she does not care what D.C. thinks of her,” Santorum adds. “Faith is the center of her life. Her brilliance is matched by her humility. She is normal. Her family grounds her.”

Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, told me, “Barrett will be the best of the three contenders [that Trump has been considering].”

Perkins notes that Barrett was savagely attacked for her Catholic faith by left-wing Senators and pro-abortion groups during her confirmation process to be on the 7th Circuit Appeals Court in 2017.

“Why is it that so many of us on this side have this very uncomfortable feeling that dogma and law are two different things, and I think whatever a religion is, it has its own dogma — the law is totally different,” California Senator Diane Feinstein told Barrett. “And I think in your case, professor, when you read your speeches, the conclusion one draws is that the dogma lives loudly within you. And that’s of concern.”

“Feinstein’s attack on her faith during her confirmation for the appeals court — ‘the dogma speaks loudly within you’ — will be like the battle cry, ‘remember the Alamo,’” Perkins told me.

“‘Remember the Dogma’ — that will rally not only Catholics but Evangelicals because of the growing hostility of the Left to religious freedom.”

Newsweek brutally attacked Barrett this week for claiming that she belongs to a cultish-Catholic sect that “served as inspiration for Margaret Atwood’s dystopian novel, The Handmaid’s Tale,” adding that female members of the cult are forced to report to spiritual superiors known as “handmaids” and that the group stresses that “men have authority over their wives.”

Newsweek wrote that “Atwood…has indicated that the group’s existence motivated her to write The Handmaid’s Tale, set in the fictional Gilead, where women’s bodies are governed and treated as the property of the state under a theocratic regime.”

Just one problem — it wasn’t true, Barrett isn’t part of such a group at all, and Newsweek had to issue a retraction.

Brace yourself and pray without ceasing — this nomination battle is going to get very ugly, very fast.

But it could also be electrifying and help re-elect President Trump and possibly expand conservative control of the Senate.

“This nomination fight could be the turn-out-the-vote key to the entire election for Trump,” I told NBC News. “The Trump base is very worried [that Biden and Harris could win] and this nomination is going to remind them: If you sit home and let your friends sit home [and not vote], everything you believe in is going to be washed away.”

Please join me, Vice President Pence & Secretary Ben Carson at Evangelical conference in Iowa next week. We’ll discuss need for revival in America, new advances towards peace in Mideast.

Here’s the story we just published on ALL ISRAEL NEWS….

DES MOINES, IOWA — An Evangelical pro-family policy organization known as The FAMiLY LEADER Foundation announced Friday that Vice President of the United States Mike Pence and ALL ISRAEL NEWS editor-in-chief Joel C. Rosenberg will be speaking at a special event on Thursday, Oct. 1st.

“We are thrilled to welcome to Iowa such a prominent guest as the Vice President of the United States,” said Bob Vander Plaats, president and CEO of The FAMiLY LEADER Foundation and a member of the ALL ISRAEL NEWS advisory board.

“This special event presents an unprecedented opportunity for Christian audiences to see how people of faith can have an impact in leading others and leading our nation,” Vander Plaats added. “We’re exceptionally honored that Vice President Pence has agreed to come, and we believe it will be an inspiring and encouraging event.”

Rosenberg said he was “deeply humbled” to be invited by his long time friend Vander Plaats to address this important event.

“It is not a campaign event or a partisan political event,” Rosenberg noted. “Rather, it’s a unique opportunity to brief Evangelicals and others in the Midwest about the spiritual, cultural and economic challenges facing the United States and how urgently we need to turn back to God and embrace the biblical principles of revival found in 2 Chronicles 7:14.”

“But it’s also a time to brief Evangelicals on how to pray for Israel and her neighbors, the urgency of praying for the peace of Jerusalem and the enormous significance of the Abraham Accords, the historic peace treaties that were recently signed between Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain,” Rosenberg added.

Rosenberg further noted that, “I’m especially looking forward to sharing the platform with my dear friend, Vice President Pence, whom I’ve know for nearly a decade, and other national leaders who are devout Evangelical Christians, deeply love Israel, and care so passionately about advancing peace in the Middle East.”

Other speakers will include:

Dr. Ben Carson, a Presidential Medal of Freedom honoree, one of the most distinguished neurosurgeons in American history, and currently the U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

Mike Lindell, the inventor and CEO of MyPillow and founder of the Lindell Recovery Network.

Bob Vander Plaats, President and CEO of THE FAMiLY LEADER, former gubernatorial candidate in Iowa, and a member of the ALL ISRAEL NEWS advisory board.

The event, “Faith in Leadership, America’s Need for Revival,” will take place at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Funds raised from donations and sponsorships will support the ministry of The FAMiLY Leader Foundation.

The FAMiLY Leadership Foundation is the 501(c)3 arm of The FAMiLY Leader, a ministry that seeks to strengthen families by inspiring Christ-like leadership in the home, church, and government.

The following article was published today by ALL ISRAEL NEWS.

RAPID CITY, SOUTH DAKOTA — With an unprecedented pandemic sweeping across the country, nearly 200,000 COVID deaths, millions of people unemployed, urban rioting, spiking racial tensions, surging murder rates and widespread lawlessness, many Americans are fearful about the future of their country.

A recent poll found that 8-in-10 Americans believe the country is headed in the wrongdirection.

Even more sobering, a poll conducted by Georgetown University found that the average American voter believes the country is on “the edge of civil war.”

In that context, dozens of Evangelical churches in the Midwest are holding a nationally broadcast event on Saturday, Sept. 19 calling for spiritual revival and a national Great Awakening.

They will also call for a renewed commitment for Christians to “bless Israel” that God may also have mercy on America before it’s too late.

The keynote speakers will be Joel C. Rosenberg, editor-in-chief of ALL ISRAEL NEWS, and David Brody, chief Washington correspondent for the Christian Broadcasting Network.

Vice President Mike Pence will address the gathering by video.

Also speaking by video will be Bible teacher Anne Graham Lotz, pastor and evangelist Greg Laurie and Dr. Tony Evans, one of the most prominent African American pastors in the U.S.

Rosenberg and Brody met with Pence at the White House on Tuesday to videotape the VP’s message.

Organizers insist the event will be non-political and non-partisan.

Brody and Rosenberg asked the vice president why the Bible and his faith in Jesus is important to him, why the U.S.-Israel alliance is so important to the future of the nation and why the VP often ends his speeches with a discussion of one of his favorite portions of scripture, 2 Chronicles 7:14.

In that passage, God promised Israel’s King Solomon, “’If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways,’ says the Lord, ‘then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land.’”

These verses and their relevance to the U.S. will be a major focus of the event.

Another key passage that Rosenberg will discuss is Genesis 12:3, in which the Lord promised the patriarch Abraham and the future nation of Israel, “I will bless those who bless you, and those who curse you I will curse.”

The event is called, “Where is America Headed? Finding Faith and Hope in a Time of Fear.”It will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Mountain time on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City, South Dakota, not far from the famed Mount Rushmore.

The event will be broadcast live on over 200 Christian radio stations across the nation and some 1,000 people are expected to attend in person.

People can watch the event on the website or on Facebook live.It has been organized by a task force that includes representatives from 30 churches and Christian ministry leaders in the Black Hills and surrounding area.

Rosenberg, a dual US-Israeli citizen who lives in Jerusalem, is a New York Times best-selling author of both fiction and non-fiction books.

One of his more famous non-fiction titles, and the one he has been asked to discuss, was titled, Implosion: Can America Recover from Its Economic and Spiritual Challenges in Time?

Brody, a nationally respected journalist with CBN News,  has interviewed and profiled some of the best known leaders in government, business and the faith community with piercing questions and a knack for pulling back the curtain and getting to the heart of the story.

Come with me to the White House on Tuesday for the historic peace treaty signing between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain.

(Denver, Colorado) — Greetings from Colorado. I arrived here yesterday straight from Israel for a series of meetings, speeches, media interviews and to see my parents and family.

Monday, Lord willing, I will fly to Washington, D.C. Then, on Tuesday, I am humbled to have been invited to attend the historic Mideast peace treaty signing ceremony at the White House.

Participating in the ceremony — to be held in the South Lawn, I’m told, weather permitting — will be President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, United Arab Emirates’ Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahyan, and Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al Zayani.

Cabinet Members, Members of Congress and members of the international diplomatic corps will also be attendance for the first Arab-Israeli peace treaty signing in 25 years.

I wish I could take you with me as my guest. But I will try to do the next best thing — show you everything that happens as it unfolds, as though you were sitting with me.

I’ll be posting photos, short videos and my written dispatches on our brand new ALL ISRAEL NEWS website — www.allisrael.com — and on ALL ARAB NEWS.

In addition, my team and I will be posting exclusive interviews and insider details from before and after the event, and explaining what it all means and why it matters.

Our websites have only been running for two weeks. But by God’s grace, my team and I are now in position to report on and to interpret for Evangelical Christians and others all over the globe the most important events affecting Israel and the Arab world — not from the sidelines, but from the front row, as historic, tectonic, game-changing events unfold in real time.

I hope you will take time to follow ALL ISRAEL NEWS all this week — and especially on Tuesday — checking back minute by minute, and hour by hour, for updates on the site and on our social media accounts.

Please also tell your friends who care about Israel and the region to use us as their “one-stop-shopping” website for all the latest, important credible news and analysis in a simple, easy-to-navigate format.

And please don’t stop praying for us, or for the safety of this event and all the leaders involved, or for the peace of Jerusalem, as we are commanded in Psalm 122:6. The enemies of peace are not going to take all this sitting down. We need to be prepared for — and pray against — a potentially violent backlash. Thanks so much.

ONE LAST NOTE: Tomorrow, Monday, as a subscriber of this blog, you’re going to receive a free special email called “The Week Ahead: Jerusalem Edition.” It will be written by me. It will come from ALL ISRAEL NEWS. And it will start coming every Monday. It’s a new column to inform you about the breaking news and critical events and trends you need to watch for in Israel and the Arab world so you know best how to pray. I hope you find it helpful. Please feel free to post your feedback and questions on our Facebook page. Thanks — and may God bless you as you keep praying for peace.

Americans are facing multiple traumas simultaneously.

* A pandemic that has taken the lives of over 191,000 people and destroyed (at least for the time being) millions of jobs

* Racial tensions

* Widespread looting and rioting in multiple American cities

* And bitterly partisan political season that only promises to become uglier

No wonder that a new poll finds 64% of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track.

The good news: we’re seeing the beginnings of an impressive turnaround. More than 10 million jobs have been re-created in just the last few months. We seem to be close to vaccines and cures, Lord willing, in record time. And many Americans are turning to God for hope and comfort in these very challenging times.

But what’s ahead for America (and for Israel, where I live now)?

I look forward to addressing this topic, and answering your questions, in a very special event on October 1st.

Usually, I speak and take questions at a lovely annual event in Denver, to raise funds for the non-profit Christian ministry that my parents lead called Ministry Architecture, Inc.

This year, because of the coronavirus, we can’t meet in-person. So, we’re doing the event on-line — October 1st at 7pm Denver time.

Honestly, I think it may be the most important event we have ever done. Why? Because we all know that America is in trouble spiritually, socially and economically. The stakes could not be higher. It is, therefore, a critical conversation to be had.

Please register today to participate. You can’t watch without pre-registering. The suggested minimum contribution is $25, and it’s 100% tax deductible.

This year, there is a matching fund of up to $36,000. That means the value of your donation will be immediately doubled. So, please prayerfully consider giving significantly more than $25 to help Ministry Architecture help Evangelical ministries in developing countries design and plan the orphanages, ministry training centers, Christian schools, churches and other buildings they need to fulfill the Great Commission.

Please give through Ministry Architecture’s secure online system, since there won’t be the opportunity to take an in-person offering.

Thanks so much — and please submit your questions online right away!

Where are the courageous moderate Muslims willing to speak out & fight back against the radicals? As an Israeli, I actually interviewed two such men. Meet Mohammed and Ali.

IMG_0779

(Jerusalem, Israel) — Ever since the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, I’ve been asked variations of this question: If “real” Muslims are peaceful, where are they?

If there are really courageous, moderate, peace-loving Muslims out there, then why don’t we ever hear about them?

Because they media is not covering them.

Let’s face it, there are some 1.8 billion Muslims in the world. The vast, vast majority are not hijacking planes and flying them into buildings, are they? Or blowing themselves up in malls and schools and restaurants. Or calling for “jihad” — holy war — against Christians and Jews. Right?

Of course not.

Yet the radicals are the only ones we seem hear about on TV and in the newspapers.

Don’t get me wrong — the radicals are a serious, lethal threat. And I have no intention of minimizing the threat they pose. Indeed, I’ve spent the last two decades of my career as an author, speaker and Mideast analyst explaining who these radicals are, why they are so dangerous, and why world leaders and lay people need to take them more seriously.

That said, why are the moderates — the ones who want to make peace with Jews and Christians, and with Israel — not on the cover of Time and Newsweek and other magazines? Why aren’t they profiled on 60 Minutes and other news programs?

Traveling from Morocco to Afghanistan, I’ve worked hard to find the moderate Muslims I know are out there yet have been quiet, or have been ignored by the mainstream media even when they have bravely spoken out and taken action against the radicals.

As we launched these two new websites this week — ALL ISRAEL NEWS and ALL ARAB NEWS — I decided to interview two of the most interesting and important and courageous moderate Muslims that I’ve had the honor of meeting. We don’t agree theologically. And there are political matters we disagree on, as well. But they’re not trying to kill me. I’m not trying to kill them. To the contrary, we’re actively trying to advance peace and religious freedom in this part of the world, even though we have profound disagreements on, for example, who Jesus is, and whether the Bible is the Word of God.

Joel-Nuaimi

One of these men is a Saudi cleric — Sheikh Mohammed al-Issa.

The other is an Emirati businessman (from the UAE) — Dr. Al Rashid Al Nuaimi.

They are absolutely fascinating, and I want to introduce you to them.

Here are links to the interviews I have done with them. I highly recommend you take some time to read them. And while you’re at it, pray for these men and their families.

Thanks so much — and shalom and salaam from Jerusalem.
